What area (towns/highways) is considered the Texas Hill area. I'm thinking that I should rider there this year.
It appears to me to be the area generally north of San Antonio and west of Austin.
Nice area. We had a blast. Lots of info on here if you do some searches. I bought one of the "Butler Maps" for $15. It was well worth it. It highlights the nicer roads.
It would be cool to go back when warmer and maybe take in some water sports. Lots of rivers in the area that are beautiful. Water is clear from all the limestone.
if you wanna come to Texas, pm me... i will send you to the right places and roads in the hill country to make it worth your while.. might even be able to ride with you if you want a guide..
