I live south of Nashville near the trace in Franklin, TN. I would like to rondezous with some of you coming through and perhaps ride a few miles with you so please contact me when you are coming this way.

if you go to lynchburg this weekend you can come down for the rally they have on the 14th 15th and 16th, its pretty good thereare always alot ofbike during that weekend and there is always pretty good food. here is the web page for that event try it out not bad if your in the area. http://www.lynchburgtnchoppers.com/rallyinfo.html
I also recommend Loveless Cafe on the Nashville end of the trace. On the northern/Tenneessee end of the trace you need to really watch out for wild turkeys in the early morning and afternoon.
Another good excursion just off the trace is Davy Crockett State Park. If you're a history buff you want to hit the park where Meriwether Lewis (of Lewis and Clark fame) died while traveling the trace.
Next to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Natchez Trace is one of my most favorite rides.
