Adventures with the "Scorpios"
Arrived home on Tuesday April 4th. Excellent flight on Delta into Detroit. First time we flew Delta to Puerto Vallarta and back, and won’t be the last!
Excellent service with “on time” flights.
Spent the day yesterday getting my friends Honda and Suzie’s 370Z out of the mancave. Harley all ready to go and good weather coming upon us this coming week.
Had a great 3 month winter vacation in PV. All booked for next year, and as always glad to be home.
Cheers, Terry
Mancave all back to normal and ready to party with our friends!
Harley all uncovered and ready to roll this coming week.
To start, welcome back Rocky!
Thought I would join back in also. Been getting lots of riding in so far this year.
Suzie and I joined the local “Bluewater Chapter” of the HOG group.
Its a pleasure to ride with a great bunch of sensible H.O.G. riders.
Enjoy the photos. More to come!
Cheers, Terry
Vest all “patched” up.
Group BBQ and a fellow riders house.
Downtown Windsor, Ontario across from Caesars Casino.
Bayside Brewing Company, Erieau Ontario.
My memory on “One Drive” popped up this morning and reminded me that 6 years ago today, July 11, 2017 “Rocky” (The Journeys of Darla) made the trek from BC and arrived in Sarnia, Ontario.
I met him up north on Lake Huron at Goderich Ontario.
We rode back to Sarnia together and Rocky stayed with Suzie and I for a couple of days.
It’s really one of the memories as a Harley rider I will always cherish.
Enjoy the photos!
Cheers, Terry
Met Rocky in Goderich, Ontario.
Rocky taking a break in the Scorpio mancave.
Darla II in the mancave out of the rain we got that day.
We did a group ride last evening (Bluewater HOG, Sarnia Chapter) to a place on Lake St. Clair called Mitchells Bay, Ontario. Much to our surprise this small tourist town has two restaurants, both of which were closed. Go figure!
So it was a meet up with our sister club from Chatham, exchange some stories, and then ride home back to Sarnia along the St. Clair River.
A beautiful night for a ride.
Enjoy the photos!
Cheers, Terry
Arrival at Mitchells Bay parking lot by the beach.
Another group photo of the bikes.
Sister group from Chatham (6 bikes) joined us.
Group photo prior to heading home back to Sarnia.
What else does a retired biker guy do on a sweltering hot July day. (88 F and very humid)
I know, let’s change out the bearings, seals and races on the motorcycle trailer.
What a smart guy lol
BTW, got rained out last night but managed to finish this morning.
Cheers, Terry
Trailer all jacked up and hub removed.
Hub and pieces on the work bench. What fun! LOL
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Rode an awesome excursion yesterday with our Bluewater HOG group. 13 hours in all from start to finish and back home. Weather was picture perfect for riding!
Did a tour south of us down to Point Pelee National Park, known as the most southern piece of Canadian land, and then onto to Windsor Ontario and back home from there.
We also stopped at a few venues that are part of our Twisted Throttle ride.
Enjoy the photos!
Cheers, Terry
Entrance to Point Pelee National Park.
A destination point for a Twisted Throttle photo.
Getting ready to leave Point Pelee.
Another destination photo at Heritage Village Travel museum.
Another destination stop in Essex, Ontario
Essex Ontario with the sky looking sketchy. A few sprinkles but no rain to speak of fortunately today.
Lunch stop at Wolfhead Distillery. Excellent food at this location!
Last destination stop at Walkerville Brewery in Windsor Ontario.
