Just made it back from the first long trip on the RGU. The more I rode it the more I liked it. Great power, handling and protection. Crossing Wyoming we rode for 300+ miles in 40+ mph winds that were crosswinds or headwinds. Tried to stay off the slab out as much as possible. We rode thru the lower Tetons over to the Sawtooth range in Idaho. This was a great road except for when the bear crossed in front of me. Had a really good look at him as I passed. We then rode over to Sumpter, OR and visited the gold mining dredge they have. We then rode forest service roads up to Heppner, OR.
The Sawtooth range south of Stanley.

One of the waterfalls.
The water falls along old Hwy 30 between Troutdale and The Dalles are beautiful.
Round trip was 3400 miles.
Took this picture at Mt. St. Helens.
