I had a friend send me a 1500 mile loop that the BMW riders put together out there that he has done 3 times now. Not in the cards for me this year since it requires staying in different locations most nights. Maybe next year!!!! It hits pretty much everything!

There are 3-4 Harley Dealers within reasonable distance from Estes. Any recommendation on who to call if needed and to pick up a shirt from? Would rather not support a bad dealer.
Broke down and ordered the Tourmaster heated textile gloves to go along with my heated vest. Having severe nerve damage in my left hand/arm and numbness do not go along well with being cold. https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/...textile-gloves Hopefully if I go out there prepared for the worst it will be 90 degrees and dry the entire time I'm out there lol

I doubt it will be 90 and dry out there when you go. I was cold and wet the entire time. You're very smart for the heated gear. I cheaped out since I would not get use out of it here and wished I had it every day I was out there. Another must for me if I were to do it again is a full face or modular helmet for rain/hail protection. The wife and I both got our lips split open in hail storms.
The scenery is spectacular. Mnt. Evans is especially beautiful. The peak to Peak highway was a nice relaxing ride. Watch for furry things. Elk, sheep and goats are everywhere when you're up high. Also watch your fuel. If you need 91 or higher it's not always available at all stops including your ride out.
Have fun and I guarantee it will be memorable. My biggest bitch about the trip is not taking enough pictures. lol

Plenty of pictures will not be a problem for me! I take lots of pictures and figure I will also come back with about 500 gigs of video lol. Been cleaning out some storage space on the computer already. The heated gear will be nice but seems a pain in the *** to put on and hook up. Might be my only time I ever use it but for around $300 it's not that bad. One thing I have never seen is an elk in the wild. I think this trip will also solve that issue!!!! Looking at the extended forecast this morning at least things are looking up for when I'll be out there. Praying it holds up but I know an hour from now they'll change it.

Don't worry about seeing the Elk. In Estes, you can't throw a stone without hitting one. They are everywhere.
