Dang, have been by Wayah Road dozens of times, but, have never rode it.

Will definitely do it this time.

It’s a nice loop, I use to ride it in the car for work all the time.

I had planned to ride down towards Franklin and hit Wayah Rd on the Sunday I was there, but unfortunately for me that’s when all that rain from Nate decided to show up. Oh well I guess I’ll just have to go back, and hopefully sooner rather than later.

30's to 70's. Cooler in the mountains.

Giving warnings for frost.

We usually get up and go for breakfast in the car then come back and leave on the bike, that way it warms up good....no rush when the wife is with me.

I would love to start in Nova Scotia and chase the fall colours all the way South.

I was leaving this morning from the Nashville area and returning before Saturday.
Woke up running a fever and a headache.
Last year we went through the park and up the Blue Ridge Parkway after a train ride in Bryson City.
Wheels Through Time in Maggie Valley in 2014, I believe I will stay around home this year, may ride a couple of days on Natchez Trace or Land Between the Lakes.
Old age limits traveling time.

We just got back, man the days pass too quickly when your having fun.

Wayah Road was awesome. A little construction going on, but, not too bad. We did the circle to Franklin and back on Moonshine 28 to Deals Gap. Beautiful weather, perfect for riding.

I love the ride up Tn 68 to Tellico Plains to the Cherohola Skyway also. Beautiful curves and scenery.

Colors were mixed depending on the elevation. It was beautiful on the BRP.
