Need a little time in the mountains. Headed up to Murphy, NC to ride a couple of days.

Sort of a tradition to ride a few days and then watch some Bama vs. Vol's football while enjoying some good chili in the mountains.

Not sure if the leaves have started to turn, but, this area is beautiful when it does. Every road is great.

We will probably do Cherhola Thursday and Moonshine 28 Friday. Not sure if we will have time to do much of a ride Saturday before the game, it depends upon the fog which can be bad up till 10-11 at times.

 

Sounds like a great tradition, i definitely got to do something like that, annually!

 

I was up in that area the weekend before last, a little color in the trees were starting to show up. You should be hitting it near it’s peak I bet.

 

I will be up there next weekend for 3~4 days.

 

That is good to hear. Spectacular colors on those hills at the right time of year.

 

Be sure to waive at us. Will be the wife and I on a couple of Heritage classics.

Have a great time. Colors are starting to peak here around Franklin in the higher elevations. Don't forget Wayah Rd it's a fantastic ride this time of year. Be careful, the leaf lookers are all over and they see us even less than usual this time of year. Bring your warm gear too, we are supposed to be in the 30's tomorrow and Wednesday. Won't warm up much by week's end. Ride safe.

 

Looks a little warmer For the weekend, yeah, we’ll probably do Wayah rd Saturdayas well get there around noon. Take the bike off the trailer and gear up.. probably do Wayah then 28 from Franklin to Fontana then down 129 back to the House.
