Last time I went to Glacier I had planned to ride Hwy 12. When I got down there leaving Glacier, it was raining so I kept heading south. Plan to go back this year.
Anyone recommend a campground near Lolo?
Appreciate any recommendations for camping or other info.
There are quite a few campgrounds on the west side of the Pass. I went in once for some water but didn’t camp. I imagine they fill up in the summer early.

I am unable to recommend a campground that I can certainly say that is a fan has to, fantastic road!
The Southern California motorcycle Association I believe has that road as one of their best in the USA.
Haven't stayed in any of the campgrounds near Lolo, but I can recommend the Lolo Hot Springs Resort. Several years ago we got caught in heavy, cold rain leaving Glacier. Not dressed for it, no windshields, got soaked to the bone. Stopped at the resort early, desk guy saw we were cold and wet, dripping on his floor. No rooms ready yet, but he set us up with a place to change and get into the swimming pool size indoor hot spring and thaw out while they got rooms ready. Damn that was nice!
That was several years ago, small motel, decent rooms, great hot spring, heard they have expanded since, but rooms were reasonable back then. They may actually have campsites now too. Worth checking out.
their is several fed camping spots along lolo but they have no facility's just google camping in lolo plenty of camping spots in the pass...
last time we where there a group was camping right in the pull off for weir hot springs ..
we plan to check out Jerry Johnson hot spring this summer MM143 clothing optional
I highly recommend stopping at mile marker 141 at the weir creek hot springs pretty cool place....there is a trail you have to walk back into the woods maybe half mile. there was camping along that trail but it was really primitive and no way to see your bike..
"Camping Notes
There is an official campground of the same name 1 mile from the Warm Springs pack bridge trailhead between Mile Markers 150 and 151, along with many other nearby official campgrounds and primitive further up and down the road. No camping at the hot springs - nighttime closure in effect. It should be noted that there is NO shade at the official JJ CG, which can be a very hot place come July/August."

This looks like bear country to me. I would not venture too far off the beaten path to camp.
Locha Lodge
Locha Lodge at Lolo Pass
You beat me to it! I was just going to post Locha Lodge up. It is not inexpensive to stay there, BUT it is one of the best anywhere. You can rent a cabin and the food was great. I was lucky enough to walk up to the desk and get a room. It is the quietest and darkest place I have stayed at. No camping, although I have seen people sleeping on the ground.
If its in the budget, and you can plan far enough ahead, stay here. No disappointments.
Missoula KOA. Nice clean, great sites, a walk to shopping and other amenities. It's off the 93..
FYI they have some semi covered electric sites that are under a pie shaped gazebo ( tent village)that contain 5 sites , handy only thing is under the gazebo you are so close you can hear your neighbours . They have regular tent sites too
