Question 2019 trip west

planning next years big trip. need some ideas, I just completed this past summer a solo camping trip to Colorado, North rim grand canyon, bryce, zion, monument vally etc from ny. Now got the urge again. So plan is with 3 other guys. 1 has not been to Sturgis as yet (3x for rest of us) so we plan on doing like 4-5 days to show the new guy around. The question is either Yellowstone or Glacier National Park. I figure Yellowstone is a lot more people and slow traffic etc. Not sure time wise the difference would be really. Looking for ideas on routes as well. Also I always used the HD ride planner for my zumo planning, now i see it was changed.. also the Best Western hotel option is not there anymore. I used it as a quick link to see the hotel rates when planning a route. hopefully they will add it back. thanks Jeff

could do Yellowstone AND Glacier. its not much of a stretch (same general region) just depends how much time you have and how long you want to spend in each area. Sturgis alone can wear a fella out.

Yellowstone (to me) is super touristy so I kinda blasted through it...too many RVs and screaming kids and lines of cars kinda thing. Gets frustrating.

I you have to choose....go to Glacier, though theres so much out that way to see/do. Hwy 12 out of Lolo, Chief Joseph out of Cody...the Tetons. That entire area in itself could consume a month or more.
