Took at 10 day tour out to the Ozarks in Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma. Three of us rode west from Northern Virginia. Two buddies rode east from Colorado and met us in Eureka Springs. Here was the route we took:
We stayed in Eureka Springs for 4 nights and had 3 full days of riding in the Ozarks. These were the day ride loops:
The first day we rode the Pig Trail, a must-ride road in the region:
A few of us had never been in Oklahoma so we took a ride across the border and found a place to eat.
The last day ride was over to Push Mountain Road, another great ride.
Crossing the White River near Norfork, AR. The White River. It started to pour the minute we got back to the hotel in Eureka Springs.
On the ride back to Virginia we rode the Snake from Bristol, TN over into western North Carolina. Great road, but we could hardly see it because it was raining too hard. I'm definitely going back and doing it again when it's dry!
It rained on us virtually the whole time we were in Tenn, from North of Nashville all the way to Knoxville. It stopped just before we got to Bristol. The next day we rode the Snake (421) east from Bristol into NC in driving rain again.
My buddies and I have ridden Tenn alot, especially in Eastern Tenn, in the Smokies.
Nice trip. I like Eureka Springs. Cool little town. I have been up through KY, but would like to go back up and ride through more of the horse country.

I have a lot in common with that map. Born in Poplar Bluff, looks like you went through there or close on one of your legs. Lived about an hour north of there off and on for years. My parents still do live there. Have a lot of family in Green Forest, Arkansas area which is between Harrison and Eureka Springs. I actually lived in Blue Eye, MO for about a year and that's right on the border. Then lived in VA for about 4 and a half years, Falls Church where my mom was born and raised and mostly in Orange, VA before moving back to south east Missouri. My mom also had family in Green county TN, so visited there many times. Now live in St. Louis.
