Would enjoy loading the motor on the Sunset Limited in San Antonio and offloading in Los Angeles for the ride back to Texas. Or the other way...

My GF and I took the autotrain in 2016 to Florida then rode the bikes home a week later. They used great care in securing my bike, it was an easy ride down and all went well. I’d do it again.
My one complaint - they charged for 2 bike spaces for my GF’s Can-Am but then parked it with regular cars. As I recall, a car space cost about $50 less than the 2 bike spaces I paid for.
Oh well - it was in the 30’s and sleeting when we got on the train and 80 and sunny when we got off. I got over the 50 bucks real quick!
