That's pretty good company. Not so bad at all.

After you have a trailer hitch/receiver installed on your bike, you'll also need a trailer hitch rack (I have both from Kuryakyn) you can order a very similar (if not the same) cargo box and rack (they're made my Kolpin and they're two separate part umbers) from Home Depot.

The OP has obviously had his cargo box sanded an painted as it comes in a textured, plastic finish.

I had planned to add additional lighting when I installed mine but now that I have the parts I'm hesitant to do so over concerns that the addition of the trailer hitch may void my warranty.

She didn't get mad because she wanted to go and it worked out good because we are getting married soon and when we go on the bike now she knows what to expect so there are no arguments on what she can bring. If it fits in the bag you can take it and if you want to buy "stuff" on the trip you better make sure those bags you have will fit it.
We were going to the museum in Milwaukee when my gal and I got together, for 2 nights. She got to take whatever she thought she needed for the weekend. I took what would fit in a walmart bag. When we returned to my house, I dumped everything she took on the kitchen table. Had her sort through all of it, putting what she actually used on the one end of the table. When she saw what she didn't use versus what she did use, she had an ah ha moment and we've never had an issue with what she can take. Now she has her own bike, which she will learn how to pack it for weight distribution.

Through the years I've used many means of packing stuff including bungee cords, bungee nets, clamping horizontal bars to a sissy bar (for more support) and finally cargo trailer(s).
My next step may be the trailer hitch/cargo box pictured in this thread but first I'm going to see how this works before we take a long, two-up ride this summer:

Not sure if I'll use my new H-D tour pack bag or an airline (carryon size) bag with wheels. Whatever works best!

This is what a 2 week trip looks like. Saddlebags & a tail bag. We could probably work the tail bag away, but it's easy enough to take.
Credit card & road side assistance takes care of most issues. Jump pack & leatherman type tool for other simple issues.
I've got 2 pairs of socks from Cycle Gear that help keep my feet cooler. Technical fabric so they wash easy in sink & dry well hung up over tub at hotel.
Got a couple of pairs of Underoos that are the same style material.
Couple of regular socks & boxers for the short travel days & in between times.
2 pairs of jeans which I trade off every other day.
T shirts & wife beaters (not sure how many maybe 5?).
Pair of shorts & sandals. Wear these while not on the bike.
Hoody & long sleeve over shirt to keep sun off arms.
Basic toiletries but mostly use hotel provided stuff.
Sunscreen lotion & spray. Lotion in morning before heading out, then spray to reapply at stops.
We usually wash clothes once a week. Typically but soap & dryer sheets at laundry place (hotel or mat).

For dinner we either walk to restaurant or Uber or cab. It's good to be off the bikes at the end of the day.

Try & drink plenty of water & pop some Aleve to keep soreness at bay. Mostly my tail bone as I suffer from old white man disease - I've got no ***.
