Spectacular. Best camping trip ever. Hired a guide at the stables to take us into the back country
definitely a bucket list item

Love Glacier NP, and it's one of the few parks that I've never been through on a bike. Something always came up, but I am now determined that next year I make it happen.

GP, IMHO is one of our most beautiful parks (and rides).

If you're "of age" invest in a Senior Pass!

We've been there a few times and on one of those trips we crossed the border over into Waterton-Lakes Park (Canada) and up to Banff and Jasper Parks. A beautiful cool ride up to the glaciers but well worth it if you have the time, money and paperwork to legally cross the border.

We've always stayed in Cut Bank, MT and entered the park from the east gate and then stayed one night in either Whitefish or Kalispel, MT after driving through the park but you may want to "circle" the park.

Check your map and search out one of the scenic routes and either way you won't be disappointed.

Coming from the south, you may want to take a jacket or sweater as the weather will be cooler than what you are used to!

I've never been to Glacier National Park, so after the Sturgis rally this past August, thought I'd take a ride up there to check it out. Unfortunately, due to the fire situation, I was only able to ride to the visitor center at Logan Pass from the east entrance. The road was closed from that point westward all the way to Apgar visitor center.

Drop that guilt like the bad habit it is. He made his own decision. Although he may have missed the bike once in a while I bet he had no regrets.

We've been 3 times, first was the cage and 2 more on the bikes. It's good either way.
If your into hiking Avalanche Lake is worth the effort.https://trailheadtraveler.com/best-d...national-park/

We enjoyed riding up to Waterton Park in CA..

Have a great time!

I left Sturgis on Wednesday and headed up there for my second visit. I guess I beat the fire and closure. I saw later where some stuff at the lake burned.
