It would appear I got tickets to the Final Four in Minneapolis for this coming weekend. Anyone suggest some half way decent clean and cheap hotels within decent drive distance from the basketball arena?? Not sure where the arena is, i'll start looking into that. But any recommendations are welcome.
thanks!!

The stadium is just a few blocks off I-35 W downtown at 6th street. Based on how things went with the Super Bowl last spring everything downtown or on the light rail will be spendy. Parking will be like any other big event around $25, get there early or expect to walk. Another option is a Park n Ride lot at Fort Snelling. Parking is free and the train ride is around $3 -3.50 depending on the day and time. Mall of America - same thing.
The good news is that it will be a warm weekend. Your best bet would be checking the travel sites. Many of the hotel have a 4 night minimum.
Rizzo....thanks for the info.... I did get tickets to the Final Four, and made reservations at a Super 8 somewhere north and west of the arena. So I think we are set....other than the 10 hour drive over and finding where I pick up tickets!!
This makes 7 out of 8 Final Fours I've made with MSU.... and second trip to Minneapolis for the games!
