Spent a couple days riding through Yosemite and the Southern Sierra foothills. Greenest I've ever seen it, wildflowers everywhere, Horses and cattle loving the grass, creeks and waterfalls flowing big time. Even the burn scars from the last fires are green around the burnt stumps. Great twisties, hardly any traffic midweek.
Nice, what a beautiful area. I’ve been in the park dozens of times for climbing and always promised myself to come back on 2 wheels. The whole Sierra Nevada is a special place. Nice foto’s.
Nice! Where did you take the pic that's just below the horses?
That one is of HWY 49 between Mariposa and Oakhurst, 27 miles of seriously twisty pavement. The pic above the horses is another section of the same road

I'll never make it there but man that looks awesome!!!!
Yosemite National Park and Sequoia National Park are both breathtaking in the beauty of the scenery. If you can take a vacation whether on the bike or not, go see them it is worth the time and expense. I would suggest either spring or fall, summer is extremely crowded with visitors from all over the world who journey there. My preference would be spring with all of the rivers flowing and waterfalls in full flow. I moved to NorCal to be with my wife (LDR aren't really a good thing) and she had never been to either and she has traveled the world extensively. Her jaw dropped immediately on seeing the half dome and the beauty of the Yosemite Valley. We have been to Yosemite on both the bike and the car several times and we may make a trip back to see it again, I want to try winter sometime.
