Default Lodging Recommendations in Moab

Taking a 10 day trip starting Friday the 4th and will be in Moab,UT probably Monday or Tuesday to ride Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.
We've been through Moab a couple times years ago but never stayed there so checking in here to see if any of ya'll have lately and know of a good clean reasonable priced motel.
Got burned using online searches last time we booked a room on our Memorial day weekend ride, the place was dirty and not at all as advertised so trying to avoid a repeat of that experience.
We don't need anything upscale just clean and reasonably priced.
I know there's a Motel 6 there but some of them I've stayed at weren't what you'd expect while others were decent.
Thinking maybe the Super 8,looks good on the webpage but who knows so did the place we got burned on.(it was not a 6 or 8)
This is our first full on vacation in 3 years and we have a new bike so super excited to hit the road.

You should check out these guys ride sounds like they rode where you want to go.
My son and I rode to Glacier National park and camped 8 out of the 12 day road trip, some campsites we stayed two days we did not make any reservations.
When it was about 4pm we just looked for a campground, same with the two hotels we stayed in.
KOA's are really nice, They have Cabins or you could camp, We used 7X5 30 dollar tents.

Nice but we have given up tent camping on the bike, did it many years but we're in our mid 60's now and like the comfort of motels.
Especially the wife,I'll tent camp once in a while but with her on a 10 day trip it's motels all the way.
We are also doing Glacier,Yellowstone and the Tetons on our way, been to all before but it's been years.
I will look at the link, thanks.

I've always stayed at the Virginian Motel and highly recommend it.

We stayed in the Holiday Inn, north of town on the road to the Arches entrance. I do not recall pricing, but nice clean Holiday Inn, good pool which we used. I know it was cheaper than the options in town. Good luck.

I'm 65 years old i can relate
That's why we stayed in two motels.
And used two campsites as a base camp so we could ride around unloaded to see the special touring sites.
The point I was trying to say is we did not make reservations, we rode till about 4pm then looked for a place to stay for the night. We had no problems finding a place to stay. I think the covid scare has it easier to find a place to stay the night.
KOA has cabins that are nice, and KOA are everywhere.
stay safe, ride hard have nice roadtrip

River Canyon Lodge. Near downtown, walk into town easily, wonderful pool and hot pool spa and clean rooms, coin laundry behind on next street, I've saved the best for last, reasonable pricing, even on holidays.

On your way down to Canyonlands from Moab, make the side trip out to Needles Overlook. You won't be sorry. Map it out or you'll miss it.

Was just in Moab. Stayed at the Fairfield about a mile from the entrance to Arches. A little pricey at $140 a night tho and about a 5 minute drive to town. Great pool if ‘complex’ if your into that If you need breakfast head to the Moab Grill - tons of Good food for a fair price - large portions. Lunch from Quesadilla Mobilla is the best in town $9. Pizza art Jax.

Lots of beauty in the area....hwy 128 is one of the a great rides and runs along the Colorado River. Highly recommend a stop at both Dead Horse Point state park and the Needles section of Canyonlands.

Enjoy the trip!
