Question re GPS
I’m in the market for a new GPS with bluetooth and wi-Fi.
I purchased a new Heritage 114 and I thought I could just use my phone but wrong. I can’t see the screen when the sun shines on it.
I had the zumo 590 on my 2014 Heritage but sold it with the bike. All the reviews I have read on the newer GPS have me FN confused on which one I should pull the plug on.
So, if anyone has input on their newer GPS, it would extremely helpful.
Thank You.

I use the RAM wireless charger for my phone attached to handlebars. If you do not crank down on the wing nut on the ram arm your able to move the angle to get rid of the screen glare. I have been doing this for years with gps and now phone. I never had a bike gps and used the same gps for vehicle and bike. Now with cell phone and WAZE I have been warned ahead of time to many many many objects in the road ahead.
my phone rides in the RAM mount when traveling, as long as the rubber band material stays around it, no problems with it being rock solid. I did have it jump out once when hitting a bridge where the pavement was less than stellar, fortunately it was plugged up and I caught it.
I think the better option is the phone and forget about the GPS units
You saved me 500.00 bucks today. I tried your suggestion re not tightening down on the ball wing nut. So simple and I can definitely live with the adjustments while riding.
Thank You for responding to my GPS questions.
