Great ride, you can easily spend a whole day at Barber there is so much to see.
Where did you start from?
If you someone starts from Natchez, I recommend a short detour to Port Gibson and take "Old Port Gibson Rd" which runs parallel for a while. Old Port Gibson Rd is a great curvy ride though beautiful hardwoods, this road and Liberty Rd heading southeast out of Natchez are two of the best roads in MS.
