I generally stick to a 50-mile radius from my house. I ride once per day for an average of an hour each ride. That might mean 30 miles or 60 miles depending on type of road. But that's what I do. I don't take day-long rides in groups. Do most of you ride only those day-long rides or is it common for you to just cruise around your area for an hour?
A little larger than you... 100 ish mile radius. The discussion when I went with the tour bike was many longer and multi day trips, but here in the real world... : (
We have done lots of longer runs but the average of which you speak sadly is not so long. I do lots of outreach type group rides, slower and more stops. My solo runs are often more in speed and distance. Also do tons of errands and 'work' runs on the bike which are 30, 40 or so miles one way.
we trailer out quite a distance and runs in tourist ville are often in the 300 ish mile loop range.... lots of stops to see history, waterfalls, tourist stuff
average days varies huge with how much I have to carry, etc... some weeks, 4-5 days, some only 1... I usually go to 'town' for stuff at least once a week
I dont even start mine up for less than 200 miles, unless its to perform maintenance. I either go on day trip or a few multi night trips a year, otherwise I dont ride it much. The riding close to my house is not exciting though.
If I'm just going for a ride to blow the cobwebs out of my brain, usually around 120 kms or 70 miles. That said, I've also ridden 725 kms to get lunch.
My average ride is probably 75 miles a week (when Im lucky). I have a 2 year old and sometimes a ride to get a roll of dip is all it takes to get my mind right and cure the itch. I throw in many 2-300 mile days and a ~2,000 mile ride each year which equates to ~7,500/ year.

I've only been riding again for about 5 months, and I've not taken any 200 mile trips yet. Most are sub 50 miles. Never did when I was younger either - I rode dirt bikes and racers and those just didn't scream long trip.
Riding to work and back (1-2 days/week in good weather) = 75 miles round trip. Going out to lunch somewhere with wife = 100-120 miles round trip, sometimes 150. I bought the Ultra a few months ago and we have taken 2 weekend trips Sat/Sun and those were 550-600 miles each.
