Seen a group riders at Ollie's today while I was out, wondered if that was your bunch... I swam in that pond at the Blue Whale when I was a kid. Did you see the volkswagen sticking out of a wall on the 2nd story of a shop? it was down by the Arcadia area.
We stumbled across the Blue Whale a couple years ago while traveling in the area, didn't even know it was a route 66 thing until we stopped to check it out.

Our group has about 40 bikes, so if it was a large group it might have been. I did not see the Volkswagen!
