Wore the engine on my shovel several times bouncing around the country on it, 2 to 5K and few 6K+ roads trips were regular. Now I've got a comfortable machine designed to eat the miles it hasn't been 300 miles from home yet.

Just one of those things I have to do to keep on truck'in.........or rid'in. . When I take the trips I have to remind myself each morning to get in some stretching before getting on the bike, even when i'm feeling like I don't need it. Stop at least every 2 hours etc...... Usually that's enough to keep me riding. Quitting is NOT an option!! I retired 2 years ago and plan a ride in my head almost every day.

She's on back taking lots of photos and videos while lining up hotel stays, park passes, etc.. The only thing better than traveling the country on the bike is having a partner who really enjoys it and does a lot of the "administrative" work.
