For those of you that have been on the forum for a bit, you might remember in 2011 I went for an epic ride on a 2009 FLHTP for 6400 miles in 2 weeks. I got permission by my better half to do something like that again in 2024, thinking mid june to mid july. Initially I thought about doing the 4 corners ride but pins and badges dont mean much to me. I rather ride to the places I want to see. I have 3 weeks and its a blank canvas. Im thinking starting in Va and ending in Whistler, BC and then heading back. What say you?

I am planning to hit up sturgis, maybe ride along too early to say with certainty but I am not tied down to anything. There and halfway back or whatever it is back ha ha
I reserved the time from work, June 13 till July 7. Ill leave Va on June 13, ride to Columbia, Mo first day and to Glenwood Springs, Co next day. After that, right now I have stops only, routes to be determined and days between stops to be determined. My stops are Columbia, Mo then Glenwood Springs, Co then Kanab Ut then Whitefish, Mt, not sure about BC when I cross over but alloting 2 days to
Whistler and 2 days back to Spokane. Then Sheridan, Wyoming and work my way home,
For my Canadian friends who live out west, is Revelstoke, BC a good base to ride the Canadian Rockies for a couple of days?

Oh man there's a god awful bunch of serious bike country in the pac northwest and along the canada border states going east, 3 weeks isn't near enough
Get west of fly over country and Kansas it gets busy with choices.
I know but thats what I got, lol! When Im running asphalt, I can do 900-1000 mile days no problem. When Im in bike country, I try to keep it 300-400 mile days. This is going to be a pretty hard core riding trip.
