We stayed at the Lake View Lodge in Lee Vining first night when we traveled from home to Turlock CA last Fall. Super nice place up in the mountains and the nearby Mono Lake was the location for High Plains Drifter. We headed to Yosemite the next morning and had a great day there.
We are flying into Sac and picking up our bikes at the dealer. Planning on going to Groveland that night then hit the park. After that we will work our way north then through Oregon and Washington then back to Minnesota. Possible destination is back to the coast then up to Oregon and Washington. I am all ears on suggestions for what to see and do. We got 12 days to return. We have done most things there are see once we hit Montana so really just looking for ideas in No Cal, OR, and WA.
