Big weather swings here, cold rain and wind last week, snow at the higher elevations, Friday (yesterday) predicted to be mid 70's, rain expected today, Figured I better get a ride in before I had to get out the cold weather gear. Wanted to be back home before dark, checked sunset time, 4:43 PM. Rolled out of the driveway at noon yesterday for a little lunch ride, 77 degrees and sunny. Nice ride, all back roads with some great twisties. Took a few pics, the little town of Woody (pop. 135), cool homemade roadside decorations near Glennville, tasty clam chowder and a BLT at the Saddle Sore Saloon (no food pics), snow at the top of Greenhorn Summit EL 6092: (If you look closely, I think I captured Bigfoot in one pic!) Saw some very complacent turkeys for being a week before Thanksgiving. Rolled back into the driveway at exactly 4:43, just 129 miles for the loop. heading into the hills The little town of Woody Lunch! Near Glennville Bigfoot? Where's the mashed potatoes?
