The Pub, Lusk, Wyoming. US-85 a half block north of US-20.
Colfax Tavern, AKA Cold Beer New Mexico. US-64 in between Cimarron NM and Raton NM. It's about the only thing in the 45 mile stretch between those two towns. It changed hands around 5 or 6 years ago. I actually liked it better when the old owner Roger had it, the new people classed the joint up a bit, but it's still not an upscale place by any means.
This is a Restaurant/Bar just outside 29 Palms California, it's a great Dive Bar and Local Hangout for the Desert Rats that live in the area and Bikers passing through. My Buddy's and I would stop here for a Burger and a Beer (maybe 2) on our way to the Laughlin River Run. This place is really out in the middle of nowhere in a very sparsely populated area of the Desert. You can't miss the place because it is the only roadside establishment between 29 Palms and Amboy (Old Route 66 Gas Station) They are only open Friday-Sunday now, but if your in the area it is worth a stop.
