This weekend I met a fellow at the club swap meet who is developing an "all in one place" application for Sturgis Rally information. Disclosure - I am not associated with the app .
Being retired from the IT and software development world and living in the area, I've seen many websites and apps that covered only parts of the rally. This app caught my attention and covers nearly every area of information that a rider might need while traveling in South Dakota. The developer is adding new sections and updates regularly to provide an easy way to find rally and area related information quickly.
It's web based so it doesn't install on your phone and offers links to - rally events, maps, organized rides, weather, demo ride locations, concert info, food and lodging, emergency contacts for rally communities, road conditions, towing/roadside assistance (coming), Black Hills motorcycle repair shops (coming). Rally event information will be updated as the rally draws closer and the information is released. If you're attending the rally this could be a very useful tool while visiting the Black Hills.
If the site has a whole lot of information about different topics, I hope it is easy to navigate in order to find specific topics and subjects. A search function would be great.
