Was wondering if anyone has stayed in the cabinsat the Tall Pines Inn. They look nice but was wanting any input we could find. Any tips would be helpful--thanks!!!!
Clicker we stayed at the Iron Horse last spring. It's a very friendly place to motorcyclists, has a nice firepit in the parking lot, offers camping as well as motel rooms and has a decent restaurant on site. The motel rooms are no frills, the rooms are verrry small and I couldn't turn around in the shower. Let's just say it's quite primitive!
Yup, we stayed at Iron Horse back in August. I agree with "stimul8ing guy", the rooms are small and pretty bare bones. The owners were extremely friendly and accomodating to our group. Even let us do our laundry using their personal washer/dryer. I thought the restaurant onsite was only so-so, though. Basically just offered bar food. I highly recommend taking the 10 extra minutes, and riding into Eurekafor food...tons of restaurants that have much better and bigger selection of offerings. I did take a walk through the campground area...maybe I'm just not acamping-type of gal, but you wouldn't catch me using any of those wooden tee-pee contraptions they had back there!
We are frequent visitors to the Eureka Springs area. From our experience, we have had great luck in booking our stay after arrival. Most rooms in this area are decent rooms, some with more amenities than the others, but overall really good selection. During holiday travel, the selection is much smaller, but we have always found good accomodations.
