well have been a few times and if you never been no one really can explain the experience. its a must dobefore ya see your maker or or who ever. leaving this year out of south jersey and going for two weeks. have to trailer due to back issues but anyone wanting to hop on the ride and share expenses, going and comming give me a shout. once we get there do as you want. might stay at the eagles landing camp gd., cheap and good showers, food not bad (steaks) shuttle included, small band, great people, at other end of town but can see I-90 from the hill, more later. its a blast....
The wife and I were thinking of taking the RK out for a tour. Looking to hook up withothers willing to make the ride from around our parts.
We were looking at an apartment and a cottage but now thinking of camping. There is a company that provides tents and accessories and will set them up for you before you get there and take it down when you leave. Camping concierge sorta.
Any one around Mineral Wells, Weatherford, Ft. Worth?
Going again....18 years. sort of a love/hate relationship. Maverick jason, Hog Heaven is a good place to tent if you can get in the trees. 10 minutes to downtown but a lot of traffic between you and Glenco, Buffalo Chip, etc where the big partying happens now. August 4 is the start.
Anyone Int he west FW to Mineral Wells area wanna hook up for the ride up?
Long haul and would like some company. Prefer a couple. so the ol' lady has someone to talk to.
I think I talked my dad into going, He's gone every year for as far back as i can remember. He has some friends that have a house 2 blocks from downtown sturgis that we can stay in. Were bring his enclosed trailer, He dosent want to ride there and back this year due to some health problems. I plan on riding and when i get tired i'll put it on the trailer.
Leaving the Milwaukee area August 2nd for the Chip. After 3 days in Sturgis it's off to Yellowstone and the Tetons. We should get home in time to get ready for the 105th.
We are strongly considering...plans for another trip fell through. I have a line on a cabin at the new Sturgis Road Campground in Piedmont. If anyone is heading from Washington, Oregon, or N.Utah...let me hear from you to compare routes & overnight locations!!
Going with my husband and in-laws. Coming from Greenville, SC and we're staying at the Buffalo Chip Campground. First time out there for all of us I can't wait to go. We'll be there the entire week.
