Routes to Sturgis
Does anyone know of any special routes out of Louisiana to Sturgis. Went there in 06 but cant remember the route. I went to Oklahouma then up from there but dont know the route. Will be leaving on the 25th of July

Id go north through Arkansas, Kansas to Colorado Springs Then take the scenic route north just west of Denver cut through Rocky Mountain Park to Loveland then head north to Sturgus.

If I go, my route will be from Shreveport, LA to Fayeteville, AR, Kansas City, MO, Omaha, NE, Sioux Falls, SD and in to Sturgis. Little over 1250 miles one-way. Highway 71 out of Shreveport is the primary route through Arkansas. Very scenicthrough Arkansasbut two lane road until you hit Ft. Smith and then Interstate 540 which is a mixture of 4and two lane into Kansas City. Wanted to take some scenic blue roads and this seems a good option over all Interstate riding.
