I'm heading out for a 3-4 day trip in late May (solo as I love to be alone every once in a while) anywho, part of my trip will take me to Skyline Dr in VA. I'm gonna be hitting the drive from the south and then head north. Any recommendations on a half-decent bike friendly place to spend the night south of Skyline Dr?

 

I just did a quick check on Mapscource and didn't see anything right at the entrance to Skyline Drive. About 20 miles east of the drive there are many places around Charlottsville.

 

I doubt you will have any trouble finding a place to stay south of Skyline drive.....we stayed in Roanokes but i would suggest a smaller town....we like them much more. One thing is for sure, you'll love the ride.
