I usually ride the BRP 3-4 times a year. Great riding, especially from Cherokee to Mt. Pisgah. Here's a good link for the current weather and road conditions updated daily.

Call the park headquarters at 828-271-4779 and tell em you will be checking out the park and would like some literature. Ask for a map, and the booklet on milepost/overlook information and anything else they have. It will arive in just a few short days. Can not wait for the fall! Really nice riding. Beware of the deer around sunset!!!

Good to hear it................give me a day on the BRP and I am smiling.
One of the area attractions that was missed was the Wheels through Time. Now, I hear that he is closing the doors or possibly moving. Is there any info? My reason for asking, is that, like Mac57, this is one ride that should be more than a one time deal. And Wheels through Time sounds as though we should have allowed more time and visited this place. And with our return trip, we will.
