In october i will do a 3 week roadtrip around Maine, New York, New Hampshire,Massachusetts, Vermont,..etc. to watch indian summer and see historic places and beautiful scenery.
I live in the Netherlands and this is my 4th roadtrip in the US only this time i hope you have any suggestions about Must See places, roads, villages and historic sites.

The foliage starts up north and slowly works itself south. The White Mountains of New Hampshire are a cool place to be that time of year.
There's a road called the Kangamangus Highway that runs from Conway to Lincoln that's a pretty cool ride. Once in Lincoln, there is the "Franconia Notch" area that has a lotta granit mountains.
I live in Massachusetts and pretty much all of New England is a cool place to ride in the Fall but I like New Hampshire. I guess the grass is always greener somewhere else.
