Default Sturgis 08

I had the trip of my life.
Rode 1200 mi to Sturgis. Then back.
Rode the hills with my best friend who I rode with in high school 40 years ago.
My fav cousin rode everywhere with me. She had 6 months to live with cancer 10 years ago.
Great weather. Animals everywhere. Great sights, open roads, food, vendors, and crowds.
wow! Nothing like it.

Sounds awesome. I will be going next year for my first trip to Sturgis. I have been to most of the other larger rallies, Daytona, Vega, Laughlin, Arizona...

Where did you stay? I am going to camp/tent, and riding out from Phoenix. Any recommendations. PM me, I will probably forget to check this category.

Thanks..

Eleutheros,
Did you notice those photographers on the sides of the road at various locations? Anyway we passed several of them and I can't remember any of their names/web sites. I thought it would be fun to search for our pics.

BTW, we (hubby) and I from Bakersfield CA to the rally and back. Yeah, great weather the whole way there and during our stay--one rain/hail storm on the way back. Beautiful rides through the Black Hills, Needles Hwy, Mt Rushmore & Crazy Horse(which was awesome!)

We went with about 6 other couples and some single riders. Everyday was outstanding!!

We stayed at Bobby Whittakers Campground in Belle Fouche--good time and reasonable.

Our road side pictures were on www.roadpics.com.

Total miles: 2600...worth every penny!!!

We will do it again.
