I have not been to the Gettysburg bike week yet but im volunteering to help with it this year. From what I was reading about the amount of people. It will probably be pretty crouded; thats not even considering the tourists just in town for civil war stuff. But I used to live in Gettysburg and it's a beautiful place to ride.
I will be attending bike week at gettysburg I am only 20 min away just a short ride down good old rt 30 and I will be taking photos with my 12mp sony digital camera . I ride a 08 roadster I attended last year it was very crowded but still had a good time I plan to ride in the parade of chrome saturday night . I will be at battlefield harley as well . If I may suggest if you are looking for a great place to eat on your way to bike week stop at the York Airport in thomasville and eat at the restaurant there the food is good and the prices very reasonable I should know I work at the airport and keep my roadster there safe and sound . The owner of the restaurant rides a Harley too !! Gary the owner would be very happy if you would help support a fellow bikers business. I built all the aircraft models hanging in the dining areas . I get lots of compliments from visitors all the time regarding my aircraft models its a hobby of mine when I am off duty from flying and working the flight ramp there . Hope to see some of you at bike week .
