looking for folks from this area to advise me of local sights to see when traveling through the area at Christmas time- local bike/hot rod cruise night, Indian ruins, historical sights, bets local places to eat? Any ideas will be greatly appreciated
On the south side of the 10 is a small place named 'Hot Dog Heaven' just as you hit Tuscon. Just happened to see his sign while heading east and it sounded good after all of the other fast food we had eaten that trip. It's a local guy that operates it. Good stuff and he has pretty cool T-shirts.
ok gong to tucson sucks ..
they are working on the freeway and will be for the next few years ..
make sure to map your ride as getting in and out of town is awful.. that said there are a lot of thing to see there and of course tombstone is only a short ride away and well worth it..
go to the az visiters center they have maps and all the info you could want
enjoy
