I'm looking at doing a ride this memorial day weekend (I know thats a ways out, planning ahead), and I'm going to be going from coastal north carolina, and maybe to the area around the smokies. Anyone got any good ideas for a good 3-day ride?
If you're going to be around the Smokies,if you've never been in the area be sure to
ride from Cherokee across the mountain to Gatlinburg. Or you could go into Robbinsville,NC
& ride the Cherahola Skyway to Tellico Plains,TN,one of the most beautiful rides you'll
be on. Just about any place you pick to stay in this general area you can go on a ride
in any direction & have a good ride.
Rolling Thunder is going on then if you want to head toward DC. We ride into DC from Patroit HD in Fairfax. All traffic is stopped on I-66 going in and all entrance ramps are blocked. Police excort and only bikes on the road. If you never been you should check it out.
