Default Bobcat Bite

Rented a Road Glide from Thunderbird HD in Albuquerque while on a layover.

Turquoise Trail up to Santa Fe. Be sure to stop at the Bobcat Bite........voted one of the best burger places in the country. It's on the Old Las Vegas highway just SE of Santa Fe.

Was a good way to spend the day.

I plan on heading out that way again in May for a 3 day ride.

Thinking of spending nights in Taos and Farmington. Would appreciate any tips on places to see and rides to do in the northern half on NM.

Regards,

Brad

+1 on Bobcat Bite! That was the best burger I have ever eaten! A really great ride very near there is the road that travels north along the Pecos River - very scenic with lots of twisties!

The highway that heads west from Taos, across the Rio Grande and up over the mountains, is terrific. Then south back down to Santa Fe through Georgia O'Keefe country is stunning!

Take the high road to Taos out of Santa Fe, stop in all the little villages. In Taos a good place to stay is the Sun God, you have the ability to park the bike at your door. Ride the Enchanted Circle. Goes thru Angel Fire, Eagle Nest, Red River, Questa. Nice ride, plenty of things to see, Then back to Santa Fe along the river. There is the Red River Run Memorial Day Weekend, pretty crowded, make reservations early. Enjoy the ride. New Mexico has a lot of good ridin. Each part of the state has it's own type of ridin', I don't think you would be disappointed with anything.
