I have been on several long road trips where I never got wet once. But there are other trips where it seemed to never stop raining. Nothing worse than to plan a trip and then the big day comes to leave and it's raining. Your family stands on the porch and watches you ride away in the rain on a five day trip in saying, "boy, he must really be nuts..." And they are right - on a bike you gotta take it as it comes .
