Colorado Ride
Week of June 13th five of us rode from South Texas to Colorado, 3,650 miles in seven days. We rode from Mission, TX; to Sanderson, Pecos, Carlsbad, NM; Santa Fe, Chama and Durango, CO; visited Mesa Verde National Park, rode through Silverton and Ouray and camped out at Ridway State Park. Rode through Montrose, Gunnison, Buena Vista, Independence Pass, Aspen, Idaho Springs, Mt. Evans, Granby, Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park, and Boulder. On return we rode east to Oklahoma City and then back home. Our first day we rode 725 miles, and the last two were 700 miles and 765 miles. Great Ride with my brother on a Honda ST, another rider on a BMW GS, another on a Kawasaki, and two Ultras.

Nice dude. I live only about 10 minutes from the road up Mt Evans. I could hardly recommend a better trip through Colorado, though it sounds like you may have missed Telluride by about 20 minutes. Great trip!

Me and a buddy did 2k from KC through Colorado in the beginning, got snowed on at Independance Pass from Colorado Springs to Aspen, Great Trip. I could leave again tomorrow. Best town we stopped in was Ouray, Box Canyon was something to behold.
Telluride, and Aspen, both too full of cagers, rest of the trip was fantastic!
