I see a lot of post and threads here about where to ride in various locations. There is a rather good website that has a lot of great info about roads and rides submitted by folks that have done these rides. It might give you some good ideas.

Thanks for the link...I've used that before and ridden some the featured roads.

FWIW, one must read the reports with a bit of skepticism as we tend to have different definitions of scenic, easy, paved…you get the idea.

you can check out www.byways.org and the will send you a free book of Americas Byways from the US Department of Transportation. its a good one

Thanks for the byways link. I have used the motorcycle roads site before and found a couple of rides that were actually pretty close to where I live that I wasn't aware of.

used that link before also tons of ride ideas. In the winter I send for brochures from state tourist bureaus. WV is awsome and really geared towards bikers. Best of both worlds get the journey and the destinition.

Thanks for the links. It is definately time to start planning some routes. Maybe it will keep me from going stir crazy waiting for better weather.
