You might want to look at the CBA Hot Srings rally too. From your front page search for carolinamcevents . You will find everthing bike related in the carolina's and surounding states. That same weeked is also Barbarosa's in tenn on the river about a 30 minute ride from hot springs nc. Now rooms are tight as most just camp on the event grounds. Even more towing in with campers to make a comfy weekend on site. A bit cheaper and in many ways better than cherokee rally. Cherokee's best places are there campgrounds too but well removed from the event.

Man o man I miss going to Cherokee. I did the first 5years when it started at the Bingo Hall. Lavern and his crew putting on the swap. Then it moved to the high school....
Brings back good memories of me and my old man..

Now you could melt down a ride try'n to get in or out of the cherokee event. I live close by and will not go anymore. Most all events were better when newer and smaller. Hot springs and Barbarosa make for a better overall weekend and you can camp on site and watch the dunks stagger around, just try not to be one of them.
