I did the Pony Express ride from St. Joseph Mo. to Sacramento, Ca. last year.. The cost was $500 for registration and for that I got a long sleeve t-shirt that has designed for hot weather..it worked great.. a digital picture frame, a leather wallet, a man purse,and some other stuff.. on the ride a dealer had dinner for us every night.. Harley fed us a riders meeting dinner, a riders lunch in Salt Lake City, and a riders breakfast in Sacramento.. I paid for everything else.. Harley had a good ride plan with historical stops, some of it free with your Pony Express I.D..I went on the ride solo, but on the way to St. Joseph I met a rider and we rode together up there.. at PE registration we met 3 other solo riders and we all got together and rode the ride together.. I had a great ride , met some great people and saw a great part of the USA.. mixed in with all that some history of the people that made this country great sneaked in.. Yeah it cost me about $2700 total to take a 3 week vacation from Knoxville, Tn to Sacramento, Ca. and back.. Butt, I probably would have spent that on any 3 wk vacation..
