Anybody make a trip there? Just looking to find out if it's worth it. Did you enjoy it? Where you stayed? that sort of info would be greatly appreciated.
It is worth it. Sweet roads, towns, etc. Consider Eureka Springs, Jasper, and Mountain View as places to stay along the way. See the Talimina Scenic Drive west of Mena, AR, straddling the border with Oklahoma.
This entire area is a great place to ride..however in July and August you will roast...way to hot and humid.
I took a ride over to Eureka Springs today.. you won't be disappointed. The Talamena Drive trip is a must....If you need more info I can help.
Beautiful countryside to ride in them thar parts. The Iron Horse Stables is a fun place to stay just east of Eureka Springs...nuttin fancy, but clean rooms with a nice outdoor bar 'n grill, and a nice size firepit. Better call ahead tho...can be busy during riding season. http://www.myspace.com/ironhorsestables
The whole northwest corner of arkansas is great riding. Hwy 7, Hwy 23 (pig trail), Mt. judea, Mt. magazine. Eureka Springs is a good place to stay overnight, very motorcycle friendly.
