Animal,
I was born and raised in Ohio but moved out in 97. I am not sure what your looking for or what way you plan to ride in or out. With that said here is my list of things you may want to do or see.

If you are a race fan, check the Mid-Ohio race schedule to see what is going on there. It is located in north central Ohio by Lexington. I used to love to go there to see the vintage car races but they also race bikes there.

If you come in along the 'North Coast' and if you are a Rock & Roll fan a stop at the museum in Cleveland is well worth a day. Maybe take in an Indians game while there. If you are a roller coaster fan THE greatest coaster park in the world is located in Sandusky. It is called Cedar Point. While you're in that area take the ferry over to the islands and spend a day at Put In Bay. If you're a fisherman, get on a charter boat and catch some Walleye.

If you're coming in to Ohio on I70 and need a place to stay, Saltfork State Park and lodge is nice. Burr Oak State Park is in the southeast corner of the state and also has some nice facilities. If around Burr Oak there is some nice riding through the foothills and Old Man's Cave is a nice stop.

Closer to Williamsburg is Serpent Mound. It is a pretty amazing Indian mound. Look it up on the net to see if you might want to stop there. Again if you're a coaster fan, Kings Island amusement park just north of Cincinnati, is a good stop. It has the longest wooden roller coaster in the world (or at least it used to be) and it is a great ride. There used to be a paddle wheel boat that docked in Cincy and you could take it for a ride up the river. Don't know if that's still there or not. If I think of anything else I'll let you know. Have a safe trip!

Where are you planning on coming into Ohio? There's some
decent riding in the S.E. area. I might be able to offer some
suggestions.

Sorry but I'm not familiar with the Williamsburg area. I live S.
Central Ohio and do most my riding in Ohio in the S. Eastern
1/4 of the State. 50 is not a bad ride. There is a Dakotas just
before you get to Chilli. Not much after Chilli, maybe a mom
and pop in Londonderry. There's a little mom and pop on the
right just before Bainbridge. Be careful taking 71 S. through
Columbus, hate it, I usually take the outerbelt on the east side.

Have fun, be careful, Jim

Agreed 100% about 71...Hell, any freeway in C-Bus. Bikes in Ohio are seasonal at best, and the drivers there are very UNaware of bikers. Be extra vigilant. As far as a quick route avoiding 71, swing over to 315 to get south in a hurry while avoiding the mess downtown. Safe travels!
