Several years ago while head up to Independence Pass we stopped in a grove of trees. We stopped just to take a break before heading up and over into Aspen. I noticed a plaque on a tree. Out of respect we paused for a moment of silence for a fallen rider named " Big AL ".
No every year we find outselves stopping at this spot to pay our respect to someone we never knew, but someone carried enough to have this plaque made and screwed to a tree in this grove of trees. I only hope that I'd have a friend or friends that would do that for me some day.
I'd like to know more about "Big AL" if anyone reading this knows or remembers his send me an email.
