The wife and I had to go to Ky to see her dad for a few days, we had to cage it because our daughter was with us but I wish we wouldve been on the bike. We went to asmall town called Madisonville. Once we got off of the expressway and went on some of the rural roads there was nice sweeping curves and hills and the terrain would go from hilly to open pastures. Everything was so green. Very nice! Hopefully we can get back up there on the bike and do some exploring.

I live in S. Central Ohio. WV and KY are two states we visit
when we want to do 1-3 day rides. Both have something to
offer.

We're leaving NW Arkansas Friday morning @ 07.00 am. We plan to ride E on 62 to 67 into Cadiz, Ky where we have a cabin on a lake reserved. Saturday we'll get up do some riding and then head back early afternoon to do some fishing, drinking and BBQing. Sunday we'll head down to Memphis for a BBQ lunch and then back to NW Arkansas.

Default Trip in June to Kentucky

Thinking of doing a 3 or 4 day trip in Eastern Kentucky this year from Elyria, Oh. Any roads, B&B's, places to not miss, good food? Any info would be appricated.

Red River Gorge area and the Natural Bridge area. If you have time to go further south, take 421 as far as you can (Hyden to Harlan is real nice).

Leaving for Cadiz, Ky in about 20 minutes. We just had some wicked thunderstorms roll through and the weather forecast is not too promising. Looks like the storms will be following us all day but it still better than working.

Here is the radar for our trip.
