Thanks to all of you, tnharley7 you convinced me, I gotta ride it one time just to say I've been there. I've heard about it, read about it so what the hey, I'll hit her from the NC side, make the run then play it by ear from there. Some great suggestions on here. I'll post it once I get back over here, look at the pictures and wait for the next trip. Thanks again, this is an awesome forum.

Bobby, glad u decided to give the dragon a try. It's a road u will either love or hate, but u will never know if u don't try it once. I try and ride it once a month and always enjoy coming back even though I'm a 60's Ultra driver. Jerry

Just spent most of a week up there, definately hit the Wheels thru Time in Maggie Valley... I guess I'm not really a well-traveled person and all the roads in that area are exceptional compared to what I've seen, I was blown away by the Dragon... don't miss it.

The Blue Ridge Parkway is closed between 151 and 191. If traveling from the south take 276 to Brevard and turn left on 280. That will take you over to 191 (turn left). From there it is a nice ride over to Mount Mitchell, and Linville Falls area. All Great riding. I agree on 276 and 215 being good rides as well. I was in that area today.
