road trip?
I'm not sure if this is the right section for setting up trips, but I wanted to see if anyone wanted to take a day long or a multi-day trip. I have a little bit of time off so I want to ride, the further the better, I could use a change of atmosphere.
I'm relatively new to riding, 22, and currently living in claryville, ny close to liberty, ny and hour away from Kingston. I recently took a trip up to Plattsburgh, NY stayed there overnight at a friends place, tacked on 750 miles or so.
I ride an 07 street bob, unfortunately with no windshield so long highway rides can be a pain in the ***. I'd prefer to have the weather in compliance as well, the rear rubber is shot.
I can describe myself as a lone adventurer so it'd be nice to do something social for a change. I don't have any solid relationships of any sort, no baggage, so I'm always up for traveling.

I am not sure that this is a "good" way to find riding partner(s). The best way is joining your local groups; they are all over!
You will have more friends, and go from there.
Of course, there are many forums out there, and you can find many riding plans, select one that may fit your time and location, then ask to join.
You'll never know!
