I s there anything going on Sept 24th,25th 26th, in York this year.
Checked internet but did not see any organized activity listedfor 2010.
Went last year for big 25th anniversary of the Harley plant.
Anyone else going down there for that weekend from Ontario?

The local TV is having a ride the 26th. I don't think the plant is having their yearly open house.

The other event I know is that Hannums in Chadds ford is having their DAM Run. They have a ride from Chadds Ford to the Conowingo. In past years they gave away a bike at the end, but this year they are giving T shirts.
Those are all the events that I know for that weekend in York.

York is having its bike night on friday sept 24th from 6-10 pm the bike parade is scheduled to leave the york fairgrounds at 6 pm if you want to ride in the parade you have to be at the fairgrounds around 5 pm . Along the parade route on market st and in continental square food vendors will be set up bikes park all along that area . 2000 bikes are expected in the parade but with no open house at the local harley plant this year nobody is quite sure how many bikes will be in town . I havent heard if any of the vendors that set up at laugermans harley davidson or along rt 30 will be there either since the plant open house is cancelled. I'm sure more than a few people cancelled their trips to York because of no open house activites at the plant this year . Fox 43 tv is sponsoring a ride that weekend for bikers who are upset with no open house functions rain or shine . I plan on attending if the weather is good next weekend .

A buddy and myself are leaving from the Kingston area on Friday to head down in that direction. Our intent is to do the tour at some point but our ride will be about the journey and not necessarily the destination. Took a week off work and will see where the road leads us.

Love the Hwy 15 and 15/11 south. great roads. Landed at the four points sheraton today at 1230.Good Ride Good Times
