We have found that you can stay in or around Arlington or Crystal City Va for reasonable rate... Last year we stayed at the Marriott in Crystal City which is on Jefferson Ave and 5 minutes from the pentagon parking lot where the ride stages each year... Lots to do and see... Ft Washington has been mentioned and I agree.. check out Arlington National and the monuments...but take some time to research Sgt Tim Chambers US Marine who each year pays tribute to vets by standing, saluting riders as they pass. He will be there start to finish regardless of weather etc and is as inspiring as anything you will see ...
